There’s no excuses for being bored in Jasper, Alberta.

Jasper, Alberta is a top destination for vacations in the Canadian Rockies. There are tons of great activities for you and your family to do while you’re vacationing in Jasper National Park: rafting is only part of the fun! Jasper Rafting

This is number one for the Jasper Rafting Alliance! When spring arrives, there is nothing like setting off down the Sunwapta River, and other great Canadian Rockies rivers with nothing between you and the raging waters but an inflatable raft. This is a great way to spot wildlife grazing at the side of the river without disturbing them. While you’re in Jasper, make sure to check out Banff rafting as well, as it’s only a few hours drive away.

Naturally, this is why most people come to Jasper. Jasper National Park is unbeatable for its scenery, activities, and myriad vacation opportunities for all travelers, whether your here with family, friends, or on a corporate retreat.

Jasper Tramway

This is one of the easiest (laziest) ways to get the best views around town. The longest and highest aerial tramway in the Rockies, two tram cars zip up and down the mountain to the height of 8,200ft where you are met by a licensed restaurant and some great hiking trails. Stay as long as you like, but check with the driver for a return schedule. Do not leave Jasper without trying the Jasper Tramway Shuttle Tour.

Athabasca Falls

If you are looking for the photo opportunity that will make everyone at home jealous, head to the Athabasca Falls. It is the spot where the Athabasca River meets a narrow gorge and the result is so powerful, it will take your breath away. If you’d like to see for yourself, there are a couple of hiking tours available–don’t forget to bring proper footwear!

Bundle up and get ready to explore the winter wonderland that is Jasper National Park. No experience necessary!
